Twist Series

A series of sculptural vessels based on geometric forms.
These pieces were created using Rhinoceros 3D and then printed in a stoneware clay using a Delta Wasp 2040 clay printer. The finish of the vessels is created by a traditional firing process called saggar where the pieces are fired with boxes or larger vessels filled with combustible materials. The result is a blend of the new and old, the objects look ancient but the sharp geometric form makes it more contemporary.
